Leading Practice Adoption Process

The MOSH Leading Practice Adoption System helps mines identify, refine, and share proven health and safety practices. By learning from real mine experiences, it supports smoother adoption across the industry—breaking down barriers and building a culture of continuous improvement.

  1. Step 1 Secure support for adoption
  2. Step 2 Establish Mine Adoption Team
  3. Step 3 Confirm Mine STS elements to be addressed
  4. Step 4 Establish Mine Adoption Plan
  5. Step 5 Review, update and monitor operational processes and documents
  6. Step 6 Execute leading practice adoption and implementation in pilot site/area
  7. Step 7 Roll out the LP to the rest of the organization/mine
